Hmmm, let's see... a little about me.

My husband, two daughters (soon to be three) and I live in Central Indiana with our dog, Rocky-Roo. There are no bears around here... besides the ones that I and fellow bear artists make, that is. :) I grew up in the Army and was always moving around, which made making friends kind of hard. I was not 'Miss Popular' in school; I was known more as 'The Artist' than even by my name oftentimes. Art was something I could take with me wherever I went, and I could express myself however I felt, so art stayed with me when friends left... and I left friends. I've dabbled a bit in many mediums: stained glass, photography, clay, paint, metal, foam and fur....but my main medium has always simply been a pencil and paper. I usually tire quickly of doing the same thing, and am always looking for something new and exciting to make, create... That's the great thing about Teddy Bears; the only boundary there is in creating them is my imagination... and that hasn't let me down yet!

I do have a life outside of Teddy Bears, as insane as that may seem.... :p I, as you already know, am a mom, a wife, and I'm also a substitute teacher. I enjoy simply doing things with my family, sitting outside on warm sunny days when I can, and wasting the occasional few hours on the computer (when I ever have time).
